How irritating is it when you've been a faithful customer for, like ever, only to be rewarded by being excluded from special offers?
For almost ten years now I have been a faithful customer of Telewest. When cable television first arrived in our street I almost literally grabbed the rep and dragged him into my house to sign me up! My reward? Any special offers are for new customers only. It's like that ad on the telly for whatever bank it is that tries to make us believe that they're not like that. Yes, right, of course you're not. Once you've got us snared you'll be just the same as the rest of them!
OK, so these companies are now responsible for me being a bit of a tart. I'm casting aside my loyalty and opting to change any service to the highest bidder. Royal Bank are offering me £100 to move my account to them. I've already changed my Gas supplier; Electricity supplier; insurance agents. Why not? When these companies start to show me some loyalty I may begin to repay the compliment!
